When I first tasted this soup, I was so overwhelmed with joy that I put on my roller skates, my skin-hugging polyester shorts, and my tube socks and hit the roller rink. Going round and round I kept singing… XANADU!! Who knew that white beans, tarragon, garlic, and tomatoes pureed up tasted so divine!! Then Soupermom grabbed her skates and followed me around the rink singing how the soup is so creamy, yet healthy!! Come rain, come snow – you’ll love this soup!! We both lit up in neon and danced and danced and danced. Then the security officer came and escorted us off the rink because they don’t allow neon dancers in polyester shorts at the Rollerworld in Gaithersburg. So lame.
Ingredients (in no particular order): white beans, tarragon, Italian plum tomatoes, garlic, olive oil, salt, homemade vegetable stock goodness
Soup type: Cold, Pureed

Great creamy texture, but more like a cream-less tomato soup than a white bean soup per se. Flavor was great, would be even better with a dollop of cool sour cream or greek yogurt on top. Like the soup; it’s a keeper.
I am eating the soups now; yes – I have a little of both to enjoy. The white bean smooth soup is not a keeper for me. I agree that the texture is nice, but it tastes too much like tomato soup to me. Tomato soup is not one of my favorites really. That said, I’m switching over to the Mung Bean (Yummy!) page now. mak
Oh my!! The white bean soup is definitely one of my favorites, so far! I’ve never had a creamy bean soup before and I have to say that I really love it. The plum tomatoes add just a hint of flavor, I definitely taste the beans over the tomato. Would love to see this soup offered again!
It was not such a bad soup…tho if I had to justify paying a little more, and driving to pick up soups, this wouldn’t make the trip. :) ( I don’t really like to talk down a soup because this one was good also!)
I really liked this one- great subtle flavor that was not overpowering, nice consistency! I liked the tomatoes in it and thought it added a lot.
Loved it — no added seasoning necessary on this one! I could taste the beans but not too much – loved the color. Delicious!
Didn’t quite love this as much as the other reviewers. I thought the soup needed more flavor and spices. This soup was just a little too low key for me but it won’t keep me from coming back for soup each week!
This was my first Soupergirl soup, and it was excellent! I thought the flavoring was just right. Hope you will offer it again.
I adore tomato-based soups, and in this soup the blend of bean and tomato was simply divine. With each creamy spoonful, I felt transported to a sunny villa patio in Tuscany while shape-shifting along the way into an Olivia Newton-John look-alike. A lovely soup and deliciously distracting. So distracting, I completely missed the soup order window this week!
This was also my first order with Soupergirl (more to come…) I loved this soup. Drizzled some olive oil on top. Yum!
Really enjoyed this one, more then I expected.
LOVED this soup, way more than i was expecting. nice with a little olive oil. please offer it again!
