This soup is so pretty you are going to want to dress it up in a little tutu and dance with it around your living room. The colorful seasonal vegetables practically jump out of the bowl of hearty red lentils. They look so perfect you almost think they are doing a synchronized swimming routine. You’ll think to yourself – hey, didn’t I see you guys on ESPN 7 – All Synchronized Swimming All The Time? This soup will also help you stay in swimsuit shape, with its vitamins, nutrients, and fiber. But as always, we don’t think you’ll notice this soup is so gosh darn healthy. You’ll just feel warm and cozy after eating it on a cold autumn night. And don’t be embarrassed to write down “take ballet lessons” on your to-do list. Good for you! Taking on a new hobby! Oh, and if you do dress the soup up in a tutu, please take a picture and e-mail it to me. I’d like to see that!

This is a brilliant take on lentil soup — each ingredient lent something subtly delicious to the overall flavor…a little cilantro on occasion, a little lime etc…and the squash — now there’s an inspirational addition!
I thoroughly enjoyed this soup as part of a late breakfast this morning. Next time it’s available, I’m going to order a quart so that I also can enjoy its excellent blend of flavors during lunch and/or dinner.
okay soupergirl, you are rocking my world. it’s dreary out, i’m in my office feeling a little chilly, and as luck would have it, i have this soup in the office fridge! i warm it up, and people start following me down the hall as i walk back to my office… “what’s that?” they say. yummy in my tummy, that’s what it is. thank you for making my day.
It’s early January and cold outside and inside my office. I picked this up from a local store while on my lunch break and then ate it immediately (after heating) and it was so delicious and warming and hearty! I wish I had ordered a quart instead of a pint!!
OMG, amazing! I wish I’d ordered three quarts! I was licking the container dry!
I hope this soup pops up on the menu again soon!
Maybe ours came out of a different pot. I was under the impression that
lentil soup needed lentils. Ours had none — and no lentil (or other) flavor.
Sooooooooooooooooooooooo good. I’m not a big lentil fan, but the wonderful taste and flavors of this soup made me forget I was eating lentils! I’m definitely ordering more of this one next time.
