This soup tells the story of a pumpkin, Steve, who is from the wrong side of the tracks but dreams of finding wealth and the perfect spice combination in the streets of Mumbai. While working the overnight shift at the train station, he comes across ginger, curry powder, and coconut milk. They quickly become best of friends and decide to start a band called Luscious Soup. They quickly jump to the top of the charts with their hit song We are Smooth and Silky with the Perfect Amount of Sweetness and Spice. Some reviewers think the song title is a bit long, but others embrace the uniqueness and funkiness of the band and the song. Before long, Steve is nominated for an Oscar. Steve is totally confused because he is the lead singer of a band, not an actor. He is also confused because he is a pumpkin.

I had to write in and rate this one – a definite 5 out of 5! I do believe Soupdog Millionaire (aka pumpkin) is my new favorite soup, and to think I hesitated in ordering it. I have not been a huge fan of “smooth” or creamy-type soups in the past, but I haven’t had a soup from Soupergirl that I haven’t loved! Even tomato. Soupdog Millionaire is wonderful, the yummiest, oh yes. Thank you for all the delicious meals I’ve been having not to mention healthy and seasonally correct besides tasting so good. I am looking forward to next week’s.
my 6 month old LOVED this soup and that’s a high compliment! he is reluctant about baby food and just loved this. he had it for lunch everyday. it was delicious for both of us. definitely a 5 out of 5!

Like Mary Ann, I’m normally not a creamy soup person, but this is rich, creamy, velvety–sinful! I would definitely order it again. It’s a really soothing soup.
This soup was so amazing!! I loved how creamy and full of flavor it was – without having any cream in it. I wish I had more :(
Fantastic soup — I’m usually more excited about the chunkier soups, but this was flavored beautifully and its smooth, rich texture hit the spot on a rainy cold day. Awesome!
