As many parents know, it is a constant battle trying to get children to eat healthfully. With kids constantly being barraged with ads for fast food, candy, and snacks, it is hard to get them to crave vegetables! The Soupergirl team has come up with a solution! We’ve created our own mascot. Move over Kool-Aid pitcher thing. Make room for Smokey The Roasted Indian Spiced Eggplant (Soup)! Smokey has, well, a smokey and sweet flavor that comes from being roasted along with peppers and tomatoes. He also has an exotic flavor from his Indian-influenced spice combination of cinnamon, cardamom, coriander, and cumin. Plus, he’s silky smooth due to the splash of organic coconut milk. What’s not to like? Parents love him because he doesn’t burst through the walls of your house (unlike some other un-named drink mascot thing that rhymes with schmool-aid). He knocks on the door. He also juggles and is available for babysitting. His profile on Match.com is “Smokalicious.” Look him up!

I love this soup! I ate half of it cold and half of it hot- and can’t decide which was better. I’m not usually a fan of pureed soups, but this one, with its a wonderful blend of flavors, is an exception.
Fabulous! Loved it cold. Not too spicy – the perfect blend. Can’t wait ot get it again and again.
I thought this was just OK — it was a little bland and needed salt.

We all thought it was one of the best soups we’d ever had — complex smoky smoothness — yet, it was a little spicy and went down easy!! We loved it… Bring it back!
