Each Monday you’ll receive an e-mail with the menu offering for the following week. Each week we offer two soups – one “chunky” and one “smooth.” Our menu also includes salads, Souper Croutons, vegan cornbread and vegan chocolate chip cookies. Cornbread and cookies are made fresh by our partners at Breadsmith of Potomac.
Take a day or two to ponder your life and how it would be more complete with soup. Then head to our secure website and choose your food order. Select your pick up/delivery time, and submit payment. All orders must be received by Thursday at 6:00 PM to qualify for pick up/delivery the following week. Remember, if you order on Monday, you receive your food the following week – not the same week you ordered!
There are convenient pick-up locations located all over the city. Delivery is available for all orders above $14.50. Due to fluctuating gas prices and Wall Street destroying my 401K, there is a $1.75 delivery charge.
And you shall receive.
If you have chosen the pick-up option, your soup will be available at your pre-chosen pick up locations the week after you placed your order. If you have chosen the delivery option, your order will be delivered to your home or office during the designated delivery times.
Before eating the soup thank yourself for making an incredibly wise decision. The next few minutes will be filled with blissful joy. You can trust me. I’m Soupergirl. Soon you will be scraping the bottom of your bowl and wondering why you didn’t order more. Your bowls will look something like the picture here on the right, but probably not as artistic.
The soup can be eaten right away or saved for later. You can microwave the soup directly in its container, or heat it on the stove. Some people like to put some in the freezer so they can enjoy soup whenever they want and never have to worry about what to make for dinner next week!
Please consume or freeze the soup within three days of receiving your order. Specific heating and serving instructions are provided with each order. You’ll also receive a complete ingredient list along with a little story about your soup. Who doesn’t love a good story?
